looking for a Visa agency

hi all, i know this question has been asked many times, i just want to get the most recent info :) any one can recommend me some reliable agency to do visa extension? i have a 60days visa (social visa?) when i first came in, now it's about to expired in 2 weeks, i'd like to find an agency to help me to extend it to another month, or two? I have no idea how much it will charge, so as much as detailed pls. I'm staying candidasa now, prefer to have some local agency but hard to find, so any information would be helpful tks in advance

Joelu, in Candi Dasa there are no agencies (speaks a lot for the area). If you have had a 60 day visa it probably aint a social visa but a Visa on Arrival I would suspect. To renew that you will need to contact an agency (recommend Bali IDE - talk to Yani 036 1726 200/300/500) and then go to Singapore. tks markit, i just realized my visa is a tour visa (60 days), found an agency located in Sanur on facebook that said they can renew my visa for 700k, plus 500k for sponsor letter, they said my visa can be renewal four times. What do you think? :)

Come and visit me in Sanur. You will have to do this very soon. That price is too high. You need to get the whole lot to immigration about 10 days before expiry. Yes it can be extended four times at 30 days for each extension. Bring passport, arrival/exit ticket and boarding pass from when you arrived here if you still have it.

Are you saying that a VOA can be extended 4 times? Far be it from me to doubt such a old and wise man like no.idea, but I do. Joelu just do the Singapore run like we've all done and come back with your shiny new Social Visa stamped in your passport. You start fecking around with dodgy Immagrazzi and expensive agents and you might get yourself chucked out of the country all together. Get a Social visa and be .... social. Ron can I come visit? I've run out of whiskey and cheese sob, sob!

both of you guys are so helpful as usual markit, i think my visa is not a VOA, it's 60 days tourist VISA which was issued from third country no.idea, so you can help me to do the visa extension? how do I manage to visit you? pls pm your contacts, tks so much again, you guys and this forum are the best!

I think the OP indicates that he was issued a 60 day tourist visa from his home country. If so, it is not legally extendable but, in Bali, it can be done. I know some people who have done it but.......it is dodgy. I agree with markit.....get a Kitas holder or Indonesian. who lives in Bali, to be a sponsor for a Social Visit Visa (Sosbud). If unavailable, a legal Agent will do it for a fee. Do the S'pore or KL run to get the Sosbud then, on return, the OP has an initial 60 days which can be extended, in Bali, monthly, up to 6 months total. An alternate is to do a S'pore return and get a VOA for 30 days which can be extended for another 30 days.

It is not dodgy. If it is the 211 B visa it is extendable. If it can not be done, Joelu and I will simply have a few beers. Markit, that is enough of the "old" comments.

It is given to travelers who intend to stay in Indonesia on holiday/leisure with a maximum stay of 60 (sixty) days[/COLOR] All 211B visas look the same in the passport, even a single entry Sosbud is stamped 211B but, when scanned, and the original purpose for the visa is identified as a Tourist Visa not requiring sponsorship, an extension may not be available. This is sometimes overlooked in Bali and thus extensions have been granted....but sometimes they may not. Hence my expression......dodgy! Anyway ...best of luck!
