2-3 day overstay on VOA - Implications for future visa application?

Hi, I plan on leaving Bali about 2-3 days after my VOA expires. From everything I have read here, seems that a short overstay is not a problem, just have the cash in hand, say "I'm sorry" and leave. However I am wondering what, if any, affect this may have if I want to apply for a longer/more permanent visa in the future? I seriously doubt they have their entire system computerized or will even care as long as I paid my fine, but do not want to jeopardize anything for the future. For example, on the KITAS or RETIREMENT application, is there a checkbox for "Have you ever overstayed your visa" ? thank you !

Alternative is to extend your VOA by another 30 days and pay another 25$ and two visits to the immigration office or find yourself an agent who extends your VOA on your behalf for about 600.000Rp.

Extending VOA takes at least 3 visits to immigration and sometimes four, unless you use an agent.

you can pay the fine of 50,000rp-250,000rp per day at the airport, you will not be put on the black list & will not harm any further visits to Indonesia. You can apply for a 60 day visa before you leave for your holiday, you can extend your VOA. Which ever way you choose is up to you.
