I have been doing social visa runs to Singapore just staying over night. I became aware that one was able to return the same day and was planning a "day" trip for my next "run", arriving at about 9:00 AM and departing in the evening on the latest flight available. Any confirmation or denial of the rumors concerning a new regulation as to the length of stay required to renew social visas?
