Hi Everyone,
I am a newbie to the forum and have enjoyed reading many of the posts (some great info).
My husband and I are planning to relocate to Bali in 2014 (after our youngest has finished secondary school) and are currently researching just about everything we can to prepare ourselves and will of course spend an extended period 2-3 months in Bali before we make the MOVE.
I was in Bali in July and will be back again next week with kids and in-laws, staying in Legian. We would love to sit and have a chat with expats to learn from your experiences, discuss the pro's and con's of living in the different regions of Bali as we haven't decided on a relocation location at the moment.
We would love to meet up with anyone who would like to share their stories.

Whilst we would love to stay longer to do a lot more research unfortunately it's not a possibility for this stay and will have to wait for next year, but thought we might be able to catch up with a couple of expats over a coffee or a Bintang during our stay.

You just missed a forum meet up. I think there is a regular meet up of expats in Sanur at Ducks Nutz bar on Sundays. Maybe another forum member can confirm.

What a shame. Thanks for your reply. Hopefully someone can let me know about Ducks Nutz in Sanur as we could certainly make that get together if it's happening.
