http://www.bali-information.com/expat_f ... php?t=2476 about starting cooperation with the Dutch owner of Terra Fidelium, a former franchise holder of Exotiq Real Estate.
Unfortunately the business venture with Terra Fidelium stopped, and I must say in not such a nice way. But that is life. You try things and you loose, and then you try again. You do stupid things, and you let stupid things happen to you. Just try to do it in an honest and fair way, and then someday you will succeed.
Anyway, it was another lesson, I lost money, time, and had plenty of stress. I learned that I am not the business man I hoped to become, and I never will be. And that's worth something :)
So now I have to concentrate I what I can do best. I am in the process of selling or leasing the real estate part of
http://www.bali-information.com, which is the number one website for Bali Real Estate (and Indonesia for that matter) and a great opportunity for start ups or businesses without a well visited website. Talks with some companies are still going. When I don't succeed with this, I will change the business model of the site. I am working hard on this and its fun to do.... but for nothing if I manage to sell or lease.
In the mean time I try keep serving the clients that mail through the site as best as I can, but it means sometimes referring them to other agents.
One thing is for sure. The Expat Forum will continue to be as it is.
