I applied for my family Kitas in February. My Sosbud was expired last May. No problem!, according the officers in Renon, sebentar dulu ya wait for the letter. I extended my Visa 2 times more (for free). Now it's July (30 days overstay) the immigration has my passport and still no letter from JKT. I am curious what is going to happen. Tomorrow i pay them a visit and hope it's a visit without paying

Did you call immigration in JKT to check if they even sent the letter? From what I have read on other forums you really need to fly to JKT and visit immigration in person.

raar... weird.. okay. in a nutshell My sosbud was expired in May... I could extend it for 2 months, for free, because there was a delay in the application process. 30 days overstay and this morning they just gave me the Family Kitas and I payed 750.000rp.

You need approval letter from head office in Jakarta for the visa, when I process my letter the wife flew to Jakarta & we had the letter back to us in 3 days.
