:cheerful: with open arms buddy...but you think you can handle the north for a couple of days :icon_wink:don't know about prices or availability and he has a dog (hahaha) but spicy has a guesthouse if I remember right, another option Hotel Rini (smackdown centre of Lovina, so resto/bars easy by foot)..or a bit out of Lovina hotel Sunari (need car or bike)..or in between lovina and singaraja hotel celuk agung (car or bike). Anything else you would be needing tuan (master)?

Do't go to the Tropis Bistro section which is more upmarket and won't have the Happy Hour.If you Internet connection is up to it, look at the attached Google Earth map.

Markit was there, and so was I. Also a lurker who does not have a login name, and a couple of other locals joined us. Sorry to miss you Latah - I really do look pretty much like my forum photo. Maybe we need to make a phone number known for these meet ups. It was busy because of Happy Hour - when a large Bintang is just 20,000.

hahaah good one - yeah I did look like that going on about 12 midnight. Sorry to be so late in reporting but it's been busy since I got back to the island and as a matter of fact I'm on Gili Trawangan (sp?) the big, busy one any way. I needed some R and R and lost of people ask me about the Gilis and I thought I'd find out for myself. The meeting was great and met some new people and some pretty ones too. Ron's dog was absolutely the best behaved entity there - probably because he drank the least. Or was being the "official dog" kind of like official driver but with lap sitting options.Was amazed to see Lovina so full - in my 3 years on Bali have not seen so many Bule having a good time in Bali - was great to be able to add to that. The idea with the phone number is good but I really don't want my number on open forum but those that don't mind kindly form an orderly queue Gil, of course didn't make it again with his usual explanation of mixed up days or dates - me, I think it's mixed up Gil... lolWhat the next good excuse for a get together? Please somewhere other than Lovina - it's soooo fucking hot there. :icon_mrgreen:
