I am toying with the idea of moving from Tulamben/Karangasem to Ubud. Looking for a small cottage with, or in a garden, maybe separate from the main house. Needs to have separate kitchen, western toilet, and shower with hot water (or enough PLN so I can have a hot water system installed). I would love to have a veranda/patio, air con would be nice, but is not necessary. I am ok with one large room which can be living/bedroom, or separate bedroom. It needs to be quiet, no traffic noise, and have either wifi, or a fixed phone line so I can get wifi. It does not need to be furnished. This is just for myself (female - 1 person), I don't have pets, boyfriends or visiting relatives. I am on retirement KITAS and have lived in Bali for a couple of years, in Indonesia a bit longer. I am looking at long term rental, absolute max 3j per month.

I am looking for a long-term rental in Ubud area - within walking distance of central Ubud - for 12 months. The number of bedrooms is not important, but it must be furnished, have a swimming pool and good internet connection. Budget is around 70,000,000 per year.

Thanks Matsaleh, but I have gone onto the facebook page but cannot work out how to search for rentals nor how to place a Looking to Rent. Any suggestions???/

Lioness, firstly, if you want to place an ad, open the Facebook page and not far from the top of the page, under the photos, you will see [B]"Write something..."[/B] in a box. Type your ad in the box then click "Post" at the bottom of the box. This will post your ad.
Secondly, the quickest way to search the listings is to click on the word "Photos", again just under the actual photos at the top of the page. A whole lot of albums will then display. Click on each one to see where the properties are located, price, etc.
If you want to go back to their Home page, then click on "Bali Housing and Accommodation", also just under the photos at the top of the page.
Most of the properties advertised on this site are located in Ubud. Hope this is clear.
