swimming at Hard Rock

Just wondering can people who aren't hotel guests swim at Hard Rock Hotel in Kuta if they pay or buy a meal/drink? If not, can anyone tell me some other hotels that will let non-guests pay for a swim in the pool? Thanks

Yes you can, I think it was around 60,000 Rp the last time I went. That was a few years back

A nice one that i use is if you walk down to kuta beach then walk left towards discovery , once you get to the end of the trees you get to a little bend in the path where there is a few people trying to sell u stuff and behind them is a pool looking out to sea and over the beach. . Cant remember the name of the hotel sorry but you cant miss it . ..

Hardrock also has memberships to use the pool which allows you to bring a guest .... but they have a highly racist rule that states the member must be bule , or be the spouce of a bule . When we used to live in kuta , my wife had an indonesian friend who used to go swimming at the hard rock pool , ( who was a member ) , and then hard rock introduced the new racist rule while theyre membership was still valid , but they wouldnt re-new her membership once it expired due to the new rule .:livid:

I walked by the 2 bars along the boardwalk today, just north of The Discovery Mall. The Bali Lounge and the other had a name I forgot with 21 after the name. They both have swimming pools you can use if you just buy drinks or food. The other places I have gone to are Potato Head & W. They both have great pools to use if you just buy f & b.

I think they they have stopped letting non guests using the pool at the Hard Rock now even though they used to charge. We used to go with the children all the time but went last year and they said they no longer allowed this.
