Aloha - Aloha, Electric meter readings are taken mid month and posted to your account by the 6th of the following month. Payment is due by the 24th of the month and some banks now offer payment via ATM. The same could be true for your internet provider depending on which one you use. Hope this helps!BTW are you from Hawaii? I'm from Oahu.

Aloha Ricbali! Yes, I'm originally from Maui....:) okay, so do you actually receive a hard copy bill or I just use an account number from the landlord? As to where to pay, still unsure as the citibank atm that we use does not offer that service.

Aloha, sorry No you will not be able to use your CitiBank, only local BCA type bank accounts. Ask a neighbor in your area where to pay. You will not receive a bill by mail, like at home. You will need to just go every month to the payment center with your last bill, provided by the owner, pay and then you will receive a small receipt with your usage on it. Again only after you pay. There are payment centers set up by PLN in small stores all around Bali. Look for signs that say ONLINE PLN. The signs are blue with the PLN symbol on them and will say "Pay Here".Good luck and feel free t o PM me if you need anything! Enjoy Bali.

No you don't receive bills in the mail. You can find out what's owing on-line at PT PLN (Persero) - on the right hand side of the page, you enter the 12 digit account number. You don't go to a PLN office to pay because they have out-sourced the payments business. So often you will see a sign "Bayar Listrik Di Sini" or something similar, and you go there with the account number and pay. I think Telkom offices and and one of the banks (is it Mandiri?) accept payments over the counter. Other local businesses can also process payments - just look for that sign. And other banks such as BCA also accept payments via ATM or Internet banking.
