I'm a computer programmer staying in Bali for a couple of months in Kerobokan. I plan on doing some serious programming so I'm looking several good places to park myself for the day and churn out code on my laptop while sipping jus manga.
Requirements:
- Wifi
- Access to power outlets
- Atmosphere
I love Potatoe Head but it didn't seem to have power cables...bummer. Would make a great spot (except for the salty air eating my laptop circuitry).
Grocer & Grind...wifi and power, yes, but it's like sitting in the office.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Mark

It's a more casual setting but Diane's cafe at Echo Beach has wifi and power. Guess you've got the problem of salt air but perhaps it would be nice every once in a while.

Here's a few suggestions:
Globe Cafe on jalan raya Semer in Banjar Semer has good food, reasonable prices and Wi-Fi.
Junction Cafe on jalan Laksmana, not far from Grocer & Grind, also has free Wi-Fi, although a bit more expensive than Globe.
Chat Cafe on the corner of Sunset Road and jalan Kunti, Seminyak. Fairly inexpensive, free Wi-Fi.
Vienna Cafe in jalan Drupadi. Haven't been there yet, but the menu looks interesting and not too expensive.

Vienna Cafe is one of my favourites. I can easily spend hours in the garden.... reading the papers & surfing the net while enjoying great coffee.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I will be sure to check them out!

I have used J Company Donuts and Coffee in Denpassar.
