Hi, in order to get a residency visa (KITAS I guess), is it necessary to supply a proof of good conduct, or the lack of a criminal history to the Indonesian immigration people? I’ve tried to search on line but the definitive answer isn’t clear.

I used to be on a KITAS (company sponsor/working) and that letter of good conduct was not required.
My mom was on retirement kitas (now kitap) and for both als not required.
