I found a room to rent in a house in seminyak on craigslist. It has a pool, very basic needs a paint but is clean. It's $400 per month, just for the room but obviously share the house and pool? It's only like $13 per night which sounds very cheap but im not sure if its cheap in bali terms?? Thanks in advance ;)

You will need to ask if it includes electricity, water, wi-fi access, etc. These may be extra.I'd like to add, be very careful with advertisements on Craigslist. There are a lot of scammers on that site, looking for unwitting holiday makers to pay in advance. In many cases, the accommodation just doesn't exist.Take a look at this site: Here be dragons: Internet chicanery, cons and scamsFrom the homepage: "I have two blogs at the moment - Here Be Dragons which is devoted to rental scams primarily sourced through Craigslist..."

Probably a good idea to book a hotel and stay there for a few days and then start looking for accommodation.
