You [I]could[/I] try looking in Carrefour on the Sunset Road. Maybe even ACE Hardware (they have several outlets - Kuta, Galleria and Jl Gatotsubroto).
There's a Singer shop in Jalan Gaja Mada, Denpasar (right-hand side after the Kesumbasari Markets).
There's another shop in Denpasar which sells Chinese Singer's ("Butterfly" brand) - turn left at the traffic lights in front of Kesumbasari - then maybe another 100 meters on the left. They also do Singer (Jalan Sulawesi 107).
There used to be a place called Prima Machinery in Jalan Imam Bonjol 266C, Denpasar. Sold various brands such as Brother, Janome, Juki, Yamato, Butterfly, etc.
