hello, well manaholistics had to close their business after a lot of problem with the police department, even if they had their legal licence and everything !!they had to close their cabinet and all the therapists had been deported from the police and they had to pay a big amount of money.indonesia is definitly not the best country to practice manual therapy as they have already their own physiotherapists.Cheers ***

OsteopathsI think the problem is getting a licence to practice here. This thread might help:https://balipod.com/forum/threads/chiropractors.4473/.
Really don't know about the rest of the world, but an osteopath in the U.S. is light years from a chiropractor and can prescribe drugs and perform many of the functions of an M.D.The only reason I comment on this is if allowed to practice here on the same level as in U.S. (not placing that on any sort of platform) I would be delighted to have that access.

An Osteopath is a medical doctor and a chiropractor (at least in the US) is anyone that can spell it.

Be careful with your terminology, read the following which is copied from the Osteopathy Wikipedia article: Osteopathy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaUniquely for the United States, osteopathic medicine there constitutes a branch of the medical profession. Practitioners of that branch of medicine are called osteopathic physicians, and are trained and certified to practice the entire scope of the modern medicine. To avoid confusion, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine recommend using the terms osteopathic physician (U.S.-trained only) and osteopathic medicine to distinguish individuals trained in osteopathic medicine and the field they practice from osteopaths trained in manual osteopathic treatment, the restricted-scope form of osteopathy found in other countries around the world.[5][6][7][8] In general, osteopaths trained outside of the U.S. are not physicians, are limited in practice to non-invasive manual therapies,[5] and may provide nutritional, postural, and other health advice.
Basically, if they're not a US trained, Osteopathic Physician then they're a quack. Also, notice how their attempt "to avoid confusion" failed miserably.
