Anyone tried this place? My wife's cousin brought us there tonight, first impression was ok, not the most ideal place for a fancy pizza place but whatever. As far as pizza goes its expensive, that was until I realized it was tuesday night which is %50 off all food night :icon_mrgreen: which made ordering my medium size chicken tandoori all that much easier. So anyway it arrives and the medium size I was expecting is just that, I swear if I tried hard enough I could have fit the whole thing in my mouth. Regardless of the size I ate it anyway and I managed to score a slice of everyone else's as well and I have to say it was the best Pizza I've have ever tasted anywhere in my life, no bull, its that good. If anyone is in the area on tuesday check it out, definitely worth it.Side note thoughHere is the meal deal advertising thingy that was sitting on the tableDeal 1 - 1 Small Pizza, 1 chicken Wings (thats right it say's "wings" even though you only get one)2 Teh or 2 glasses of CokeServes 2 People45,00RPDeal 2 - 1 Regular pizza1 pasta, garlic bread4 teh or 4 cokeServes 4 People90,00RPDeal 3 -2 Large Pizzas1 Family garlic bread6 Teh or 5 CokeServes 6 People136,00RPDeal 41 Jumbo Pizza1 french fries1 fried rice2 Srv chicken StripsServes 8 People8 teh or 8 coke181,00RPI'm not sure how they've worked out the "serves per person" but I think I could handle a Deal 4 all on my own, maybe they've forgotten to add "Kids Menu" to it somewhere.

To my shame I have to admit that when dining in Pizza Hut or any other pizza joint outside of the continental US I can polish off the Large pizza on my lonesome - no problem! They are always listed as "feeds four", the question is, four what? Now in the US it's a different matter - there a large Pizza will last you 2/3 days and fill 2/3 people!

Do not order the Meat Lovers, two of our party ended up in hospital last week.
Not about pizza's, but about carrefours. The cooked chicken [inside] left our whole dinner party with food poisoning. Took over a week and antibiotics to get over it. Be warned.

Went to Carrefour the other week and they were standing at the bottom of the escalator giving away free samples of pizza. In my usually shy way I took 5 samples (to their shock:icon_rolleyes:) and asked them how much a whole pizza costs. To my shock and horror they said about Rp 120,000.Now one small change I have noted in myself after living in a small developing Asian country is that I can absolutely not bring myself to eat a fecking pizza that costs the equivalent of 2 days pay for a normal worker, no fecking way! It would choke me to try! Don't care how good it was or if I got a free BJ for desert...:icon_cry:Well....? Maybe for a free BJ.

The other night I went to pickup a BBQ chicken at a newish place in jalan Petitinget (can't remember the name). They wanted Rp100.000 for a BBQ chook! I told them to forget it. :icon_eek:When I can buy a fresh chicken at the market for Rp20 to 25.000, I think 80 thousand to cook it's a bit rich!BTW Markit, what's a BJ? :icon_question:
