I'm coming to Bali mid May, arriving about 4pm, staying at a hotel in Jl. Cendrawasih/Petitenget Seminyak [Ixora]. I'm assuming that after checking in I'll be able to just go for a walk and find somewhere to buy a SIM card pretty close by, no more than maybe 10 minutes walk. But perhaps I'm being a bit naive/optimistic? Does anyone know the area that well?

you can buy a simcard at the airport. on the streets you'll find a 'counter-HP' about every 50 meters or so where you can buy a sim.

Many thanks. It probably seems like a stupid question, and probably been asked a thousand times. When I was last in Bali almost 10 years ago, mobile phones/handphones weren't quite the object they've now become.:icon_e_smile:
