Skin Specialist in Bali - need moles removed

Hello Does anyone know a good skin specialist in Bali, had 3 moles diagnosed as stage 2 cancer in Singapore but want to know if I can get them removed in Bali. (not interested in BIMC, thanks) Many thanks

I had moles removed and other aged spots lazered off at Natasha Beauty Clinic. There's one in Kuta and also one in Renon. I was happy with the result.

I would rather ask if they were medical rather than beauty practicioners. Worries me if anyone would go to a beauty parlour rather than a hospital for this kind of thing.

I second that Jimbo. I don't think skin cacer treatment is something to cut corners on. A dr. may want to biopsy them and may have some important info. or advice for you. I wish you luck. If you are a surfer as I am, skin cancer is never far from my mind.

I too would like to have a mole removed too but would only feel comfortable with it being removed by a quality medical practitioner. The OP, says not interested in BIMC - has anyone got any comments on having a mole removed there? Is it the sort of thing they would/could do...or would they refer to a skin cancer clinic elsewhere (or is there one on the Island?). Never been to BIMC. I know they are expensive but surely not more than Sing. Anyone got any thoughts before I trot off for a consultation and quote? BTW - I know they have a cancer clinic at Prima Medika and I have had some very positive experiences with the hospital....just don't know how I feel about having any procedure done at PM that involved a knife.

BIMC are worth consulting, they offer options and then let you decide. I don't know about skin specialists, but when I once went to them with a varicose vein problem they offered to get a specialist to come and consult in their facilities, or they also offered to refer me to the same specialist in one of the Denpasar hospitals as a lower cost option. (At the time, I already had an appointment in a NSW hospital, so ended up just waiting for that to happen.)

A trip to Phuket or Bangkok is my advice. Five years ago I had Lasik (lazer eye surgery) in Bumrungrad Hospital Bangkok. The facilities and service was better than in Australia, and cost less than half the price. They have a skin centre there. Thailand has a very professional (accredited) medical industry serving clients from all over the world. Much cheaper and better. There is a clinic that was recommended, however i have not been yet ... rejouve or something similar here in bali, google it rejuve or such... think the spelling not quite right. Alternativley, for those with moles, lumps, bumps, warts you want to get rid of... Swensons ice cream shop is best alternative ... i have used them myself several times ..... their ice cream cakes come with blocks of dry ice ... cut one piece into pointy bit, wrap in cloth and operate diy ....
