Obvious;y, being in a school environment should help develop the social skills of the child. But as for the actual learning of the disciplines, it certainly depends on the child's attitude and his/her IQ. I have a good friend in Boston who has 3 grown-up children: one daughter and two boys (twins). The girl (well, she is now 39) is a successful lawyer. The boys, 23, both graduated last year from MIT, one in math, and one in physics, with grade point averages of 3.7 and 3.8 out of 4.0. "So, what?" you will say. Well, all 3 were home-schooled, with BOTH parent working!!! In their school lives, until HS graduation, the boys attended only one semester in a public school (6th grade). They quit because they were "bored.":icon_biggrin:
