Can not give you good information but, I have been told that the customs will "value" the car their own way and "Tax" it accordingly. In other words it will end up costing you more than buying one here. I've also wanted to import cars as the price of a second hand one is 5 to 10x that of ones in Europe, but have been told after "tax" the difference and more will be swallowed up.If anyone has any definitive rules/import conditions I would love to know too.

the indonesian customs will demand an importtax for used cars , they ask the newprice of the car as taxso forget about bringing a car to bali

It's not cheap, but this company does it: A-1 Auto Transport, Inc. I'd make sure you have a full understanding of all the costs before attempting it though. It's not just pricey to ship there, but it's also tricky with taxes, duties, and local auto requirements.

NM didn't catch the original date on this.
