I see we have the possibility to write a Blog. Does this mean that anecdotes, personal stories/ experiences on Bali (I just posted a few today) should be "blogged"? Or can they still be posted as a forumtopic?

It's up to you really. There is no clear distinction between what is a "blog" and what is a "forum post". One technical difference is that on your blog, you have some control over who can comment on it. I can imagine that people who want to blog here will write on more personal subjects. Others might like to use it to document a building project. Another difference is that you are leading the discussion.I just ask that your blog relates back to Bali in some way. Someone said why have blogs here when there are free places to blog. My answer to that is that by blogging here you have an instant audience who are interested to read about Bali. If you have a blog on another service, you then need to promote it, if you want other people to read it.As long it is not purely promotion, people can also write about their business. From wikipedia:Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability of readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (Art blog), photographs (photoblog), videos (Video blogging), music (MP3 blog), and audio (podcasting). [/QUOTE]
