7 years ago my father passed away. A year later, at the -same day-, at the -same hour- my nephew was born. Today he turned 6! http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz178/LuckySylk/IMG_9006klein-1.jpg[/IMG]http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz178/LuckySylk/ChocolateChipCookies.jpg[/IMG] http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz178/LuckySylk/SpongeBob-standup.jpg[/IMG]

Stories like this make you think... i didn't come far with rationalizing. Just like a woman turning white (haircolour) overnight.Friday the 13th was a very special day.

Just like a woman turning white (haircolour) overnight.
I did that MiSO...it was called Dengue Fever and I was 29 at the time! Been hiding the white for a lot of years, now I've just let it grow out (old enough to get away with it now). Does make you think though...have you looked closely into your nephew's eyes? I met a young child a lot of years ago and I would swear that he had been here before, he had such wisdom and age in his eyes and he looked at you with such a knowing look it was spooky.

So Dengue fever made you turn into a white haired lady overnight and forever? The one I refer to was in the Caribbean, and had to do with voodoo. Haha...I know...crazy...but it is a pretty common thing over there.Btw. I think snow white hair is really pretty. I have 5 of them and I let them grow, I hope to be a full white haired one day...Yes, of course I looked into my nephew's eyes, and then I feel sparkles in my stomach... haha...

Miso, when my father died my daughter (who was born on my birthday) was pregnant with her son. The son looks just like his grandfather and I love your description of sparkles in your stomach.

That's a beautiful story... and yum! 2 birthday cakes!
