French school

We are planning to retire in Asia, but have a 5 years old boy. He is presently in a French school (kindergarden). Who has kids at the French school in Bali and how would you rate this school? Thanks for all information concerning this institute. Best regards Phil

Hi Phil. We don't have kids in the French School. Our daughter also 5 years old did go to school in France so we wanted her and her sister 2 years old to attend the French School in Bali. We have been to the school and we weren't impressed the school looked messy and they don't even have a parking area to leave and pick up the children, but i have no experience about the school maybe it's good ? go and have a look and make your own opinion. We preferred to put our children in a bilingual school English/Indonesian. Our children are so happy with school in Bali and they are almost sad to don't go to school week ends. It's such a big difference from the school our eldest daughter used to go to in France Friendly regards Andy

I think I can't help you with this but I can advice you to check if their teachers are credible through their degrees or background. Also, I prefer my children to learn French language to a french teacher who knows English and French fluently.

Hi Phil I agree with you 100 % the most important is the education. I did Forget to tell you also about the French school in Bali they teaches a lot of Spanish as well, it made me feel very surprised. Friendly regards Andy

Hi Andy, Where we are living presently, the French school is not the best equipped compared to others, but the quality of education is good. So you're right, we will habe to have a look at next opportunity, may be this summer. Thanks and best regards Phil
