One of the nicest things about Bali is the incredible expansive dining options. I love that you can eat in a nice warung for a couple bucks(ibu oka) , or splash on a world class restaurant. Being from the west coast of Canada (vancouver) I am really spoiled with the amazing chefs here, yet prices of a fine dinner will set me back almost two hundred for my girlfriend and myself. I dont think I have ever dropped over a hundred dollars in bali unless drinking cpious red wine. One of my fave things is of course jimbaran bay sea food and bringing in my own bottle of nice red.. Had a memorable meal last yr for a birthday at Breeze at the Samaya. Cafe Warisan is always really exellent and my new favorite may be Sarong . anyhow would others like to share their favorite restaurants , chefs, dishes etc. maybe I can garnour some new eating spots for when I return in six months. Oh ya last yr had an exellent brunch( nine courses I think) at the Damai in north bali. Hu's would also be on my list as cool spot for cocktails. thanks all
