If somebody is looking for a "familiar balinese place" I could recomend Manuaba Inn Is a family compound where Ibu Ida lives with his old old beautiful mother (soooooo cute old lady who used to dance Legong when she was a young lady). There is two rooms with garden, set back at the house, it is not on the Centre of Ubud but is a nice and quiet place, in Tebesaya, just five minutos from Jazz Caffe, not on the main road of Tebesaya, just the one small paralel road to the mean road Tebesaya, there is a small gang from the parking of the Pura Dalam Tebesaya going to the road. 974260

Hi Begonia, can you tell us what the rates are? And specs? (hot water, fan, AC, breakfast)

One night uses to charge 150.000 Rp I think, and if you stay longer than a week could be 100.000 rp, both of the bungalows have hot water and fun, not AC, breakfast is included and cooked by Ibu Ida. The bungalows has a good terrace with table, chair and hamaca (kursi malas, hehehe I love that expresion!!! lazy chair!!!)! and a small garden looking "the jungle" and coconut trees.
