Dear friends,
We are already heading towards Galungan again, and Stand Up is also just around the corner. During the past week, many people have been busy preparing. The banners and flyers are ready to be circulated (thanks to the team at Satu Garis and friends), the interactive dialogue on Dewata TV was well received (thank you Pak Mar, Ibu Anggreni and friends who helped with preparation), our web blog and facebook campaign are both up and running (thank you Saicu) and local government has been approached. Every day more people are wanting to become part of Stand Up in Bali . I am so excited by the response! We are still busy looking for ways to meet the budget.
The next meeting is scheduled for tommorow at 4pm to discuss our action plan for promotion and preparation for the event - so that we are well enough prepared before the Galungan holidays 12-16 October.... As our finances for this event are still looking a little grim, please be prepared to help out and contribute to this in any way you can, so we can finalise preparations for Stand Up in Bali at this meeting on Saturday 3rd October 2009, 4pm, in the Bale Banjar Manikaya Kauci (Jalan Noja Gg 37, No 16, Denpasar).
