Retirement........I now doubt I can retire. I could use the current recession as an excuse for starting work again and with some justification but that would be wrong. I now realise that working is what I want to do because it makes me feel alive. After Kazakhstan I went home to Indonesia and did some serious looking for land but had little success. Back in the UK I had so many things I had planned to do to occupy my time but having the time does just not seem so important. My old boss in Saudi got wind of the fact and in our regular email coresspondance asked me to rejoin him to look after some projects he has. I initially said no but have now changed my mind and I am heading back out there on the 30th. After a short while my wife will join me for long extended holidays and also my youngest daughter.Plans to buy land a build a house are therefore on indefinate hold until I can get my mindset on stopping work. I have made no promises this time and will just wait and see what the future brings. There is no specified retirement age in Saudi :D

I know you struggle many years only for your family & spend most of your time without family so God gives you a chance to enjoy with your family. And my opinion to you is that you have to accept the job which is offered you by Saudi.
