Before anyone goes fighting their way through the afternoon kerobokan/canggu traffic out to Tanah Lot for the 50$ sunset golf special that has always been available at Nirwanha golf course ........be aware.Myself and some friends made the trip the other day, only to be informed once we got there that the price has gone up 35% to 70$ instead of 50% (teeing off after 4pm). They will not inform you of this when you make the booking, only tell you once you have made it all the way out there. I asked why the icreases were made, had they done any improvements etc....nothing. Only...."harga tahun baru" from the sweet little 16yo serving on the counter at the pro shop.Going online to check their prices on the net will yield nothing, their prices have magically disappeared from their web page completely(after the price hike!) , also leading one to believe that the sunset special which has run for eons is still in effect. When asking to speak to the manager after your gruelling drive out only to be greeted with the price increase, the swet little 16y/o at the counter will only say , sorry, boss is in a meeting. One wants to vent a little after all this or seek clarification from management, but the ingenious tactic of putting the sweet 16y/o campung girl on the counter and having her not allow anyone talk to management stops that. Needless to say, we didnt play. Didnt see a single other soul playing either. Merely posting this as the web page advertising prices mysteriosly dissappeared when they put prices up, and they will not tell you over the phone when booking. Hope i can help someone else wasting an afternoon.Seems we may be heading to that era where the mentality of "sorry, business is bad now, we have to put our prices up" kicks in..............Balinese business mentality, the 8th wonder of the world. :lol:
