I've been to a few things they've catered and they are fantastichttp://www.balicateringcompany.com/Restaurants..Bali is full of places that are both memorable and beautiful. It depends on your price range and area.If you are in the lower triangle La Sal, Sarong, Hu'u, Samaya, Gado Gado are all fantastic in the mid-upper range and but the last three have the best setting. Avoid La Luciola..beautiful setting but the food is no longer good. Ku De Ta is overpriced and the food is rarely more than 7/10. Lower down the scale Pepe E Nero (ex Trattorria) in Jimbaran has a wonderful view and a large deck.In Sanur, there is nothing really on the beach beyond cafes but The Village in Jl Danau Tamblingan is probably your best choice. Easily the best restaurant in the area IMO.Be aware though, you will be lucky to find a half decent bottle of wine or spirits anywhere right now so if that's on your list of must haves....try Singapore or Malaysia sadly.

Try Mozaic Restaurant, Sanggigan, Ubud. the VERY BEST in Bali, either catering or as a restaurant. :)

Indeed Daniel, I concur, but it depends which part of Bali they're..although Mozaic is worth the extra effort but it's a bit of a drive if you are staying in, say, Jimbaran or Canggu

You can bring more but you will be charged. As per elsewhere on this site the legal fee is Rp50.000 per litre..but, and it's a big but, customs are amongst the most dishonest of all Indo government depts and those at DPS are likely to try and extort larger sums. I know many people who've had interesting experiences
