Good morning all
Not sure exactly where to put this one so I placed it here perhaps limiting the number of people who can answer me, but, nontheless...
I am unable to locate anywhere how much foreign currency ($AUD) we can bring into Indonesia, I know there are limits on Rp but what about $? Does anyone have this information, including what forms, hassles to expect please?

You are legally entitled to bring, without having to declare it, the equivalent of IDR 100 millions in local currency [u]OR[/u] in foreign currencies. This amount is valid also if you decide to bring in a combinaison if currencies.
If you exceed this amount you should signal it to the customs.
This is the legal advice... Up to you to follow it or not. :) A transfer from your country to Indonesia (providing you have an account in any bank here) would often give you a better rate than the rate you would get for cash.
