Hi All,I'm looking for a place to stay during my traineeship which is going to last 6 weeks.Online searches only give me those holiday villas and everything that's priced out of my means.I'm looking for something simple in the jimbaran area, not particular, so long as no one will stab me in the middle of my sleepcan anyone point me in the right direction ?Melvin

There isnt much (infact I dont know of any, personally) budget accomodation in Jimbaran Your best bet will be to try and get a deal with one of the cheaper hotels for your stay, as it will be 6 weeks. Renting a "normal" house as opposed to villa etc is probably out of the question as rent is usually required to be paid 1 year in advance.I'd have a look at Rough Guide Or Lonely Planet for the cheaper hotels. The guidebook will come in handy for your stay anyway, if you dont have one already.

Have a look at these websites, maybe there's something there that you like. Can't your sponsor help you with accommodation? http://micbali.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=jimbayor in Germanhttp://www.baliconsult.com/objekt_and_preisliste.htmDon't know this site, as I haven't used it. Usualy the best idea is to have a hotel for a couple of days and ask around if someone knows a place for rent. Good luck with it.

Hi Melvin...Is it possible for a daily commute from Poppies Lane 2 to Jimabaran?...
Yes - it takes about 15 minutes, depending on the traffic. There are some cheap places to stay in Jimbaran, like a "kos", for example. I know they are there but can't tell you exactly where. There are also many other places around Kuta and Legian. The best way to find them is if you're actually here. It's unlikely you'll find them on the internet. Can't the people you'll be training with help you out? I'd be asking them for some clues. :D
