Got to cafe moka at about 8'ish this morning.Ordered the multigrain roll with salami, salad, tomato, cheese, fresh onion, butter & mayo..I felt guilty as hell chowing that down with a cappucino at 8am, but it was d-d-d-delic-out-of-this-world-DELICIOUS..The bread had obviously not too long before emerged from the oven - it was warm enough to bring about a few pleasurable groans.. Back to surabaya now, where finding a good piece of multigrain bread is about as easy as finding a 90 year old nun on rollerblades.Sorry Roy, didn't make it up to Ubud - next trip hopefully..Ct

Hi mimpi, I've only eaten there twice though I'm a regular for their coffee. The two times I've eaten there the bread was great - but yesterday was stand out as it was still warm - being 8am. The other time was at lunch. But I don't doubt what you're saying, so many places have great ability but screw it all up by not maintaining consistency. We are talking about the same place right? The Cafe Moka next to the Nirmala? Up near the top of the hill on Jl. Uluwatu.Ct

Yes, thats right. There are a few Cafe Moka's but thats the one near me. I am a 5 minute drive from there :) Well a bit longer at the moment with the ditch in the road and non of the trucks giving way

I love that area, it's my favourite part of 'populated' bali.. The breeze you get around there in the afternoons is just out of this world..Ct

Yes, but I still couldnt get a kite in the air yesterday afternoon! Would help if I really knew how. Made arrives tomorrow will have to get him to show me.The breeze is one of the things I love about here too. Sometimes in Lombok I lock myself away in the bedroom all day with a book, as it is the only room with aircon and the heat is too much for me. We dont have aircon here and I often dont even need the fan...
