I am looking for some feedback from anyone who has the Indovision sports package.
I am thinking of getting it for Mimpi Manis but have no idea if the channels it offers covers all the major sporting events that guests might want to watch.
Thanks
Jimbo
Personally I do not think much of them as they show mostly football and last time I was home did not even have the Olympics. I believe there are other providers now apart from Indovision. If you can get the South African sports channells or Sky (Star) you may do better.

hmmm not what I as hoping to hear.
I guess I'm wanting major events like the Olympics, World Cup etc as well as UK & Aussie football & rugby.
I dont know if other packages are available where we are... guess I will have to look into it.

Hi Mimpi, Australian football of all types is on Australia Network which can be picked up free on a big parabola pointing east (i.e. you need one that can change direction) and is also on Indovision Basic (not part of the sports package).
The South African Sports channel already referred to is also available free. We don't have the Indovision sports channels so I can't comment on them.

We have a big parabola but personally though we had hundreds of channels there was never anything worth watching on it! I wasn't interested in the sports channels back then so don't know what we were getting. The receive got burnt out in a power surge and cant be repaired and as I was never very impressed we didn't get a new one.
There doesnt appear to be a basic package on the leaflet I have, so I will have to see if I can find more info. There is a smaller sports package that has just 4 sports channels
Vision 1
ESPN
Star Sports
Eurosport
How are these channels?
Jimbo
Vision 1 is mostly football
ESPN is American sports such a drag racing and Nascar with some of the other American sports
Star sports is mostly footbal
Eurosport is seasonal but could include show jumping, sking or football
None in my opinion are great.
