Hi Harryopal, thank you for your concern! Yes I have been doing monthly checkups and it seems the surgery was a success so my heart is working normal again. I have to work on my mobility still after being bed ridden with all the troubles. I practice walking everyday and when I go to the hospital and markets for food I use a cane for stability. Unfortunately the stairs in Bali are a hill to climb you might say! In The States they have to be built to code and only so high. That is not in the system here. I had to move to a clinic near Mengwi for assistance. It's a nice place except the rent is taking all my pension. The rent is RP. 19,500,000 a month! Hopefully in a few months I can find a cheaper adequate place near Ubud. It has more amenities I need and want now. Plus people speak English! I hope you are well. Peace
Just thought ,there is a retirement village american owned, based in north bali , within your budget ,ya its not ubud ,
