Were you able to find a good dentist Recommendation My mother is coming in Bali in June and is looking for a dentist who can perform some mild dental surgery... Anyone have any Recommendations???I have seen the website that is charging $100 per refferal.. Brilliant idea... I am hoping I could borrow the expertise of this forum in seeking the right dentist with a good reputation???? :D

"Dr Sucipto's Dental Clinic"Two branches in Bali, that I'm aware of. One in Denpasar proper, the other in Bali Galleria Mall, on the By-Pass Road, just near Kuta.Previous website links pointing specifically to this: "drsucipto dot com", etc, as posted on many forums, (including this one), don't work at the moment. Might be changing web-host server, or something like that. However, here is a link to Bali Dental Clinic, which is the same place under Dr Rudy's name, (the founder), that works:http://www.balidental.com/home.phpTEL: +62 (361) 766 255Definitely worth tracking down!Highly regarded and recommended by many!

Sanurian, Dr Sucipto's clinic is getting a lot of attention on another forum at the moment. I cant work out if there is a real problem or some sort of smear campaign but it seems they arent taking appointments at the moment so who knows.I dont want to go into details here as I have no idea what is true and not nor do I know the clinic. If anyone is interested they can see for themselves on http://www.balitravelforum.com

Hi mimpimanis...Dr Sucipto's clinic is getting a lot of attention on another forum at the moment. I can't work out if there is a real problem or some sort of smear campaign but it seems they aren't taking appointments at the moment...
It might be a smear campaign, "internal business politics"...I don't know. One point, though...their advertising in the past always stressed that no appointments were necessary. I've been there twice without a prior appointment.Given this "rumour", started by somebody somewhere, that someone is HIV positive in the clinic, would not help any medically-related business. Who knows if it's true or not? And even if it was, so what? Whenever I seek medical treatment of any kind, I don't ask the doctor, surgeon, dentist if they're HIV positive, maybe a Typhoid carrier, got golden staph...Maybe I'm strange like that. Do you? Does anybody?

Regarding a good dentist. Hilda is the best dentist in Singaraja, Excellent service and not too costly. I had a root treatment cost 450.000 and a crown 2 juta. If interested just ask me for her phone #Jogry

Here I confirm, Dr Sucipto's clinic is the best, they are a family with the old grandmother at the cashier, chinese old style.Best modern equipement, and latest techniques, I was embarrased when they discovered some mistakes made by my alltime doc in spain.Root canal treatment will cost around 500.000 Rp, more or less, dont take my word. And they have the same prices and ethics whether you are a foreigner or a local, which is something to be valued here, as that ethic is not common in other hospitals or medical services.I allways have my dental work done by DrHarris, younger brother of Dr. Sucipto, who himself only takes the most difficult cases and you will have to book well in advance.Clinic is in Denpasar, take teuku umar street from kuta to denpasar and just 400 hundred meters before it ends in the traffic light, turn right past the dumpster and then next street left, just to find it there right hand side in front of you, beware that the clinic in front of it is placed there opportunistichly and make sure you enter the right one, that is from teuku umar, turn right, then left RIGHT HAND SIDE.telephone number is 0361 222541 and mine is 081338629733 Roberto, spanish national, glad to be of help.

I have been putting off a dental visit the last few weeks. I dont know my way around Denpasar so would rather a dentist closer to home (Jimbaran) if anyone has suggestions. And preferably as eliasanto noted, not one that will charge me 10x the going rate just because I am a foreigner
