Hi all!
Can anybody suggest or recommend any companies or persons who provide english translation services in Bali (and preferably South Bali) and is there such a thing as an 'accredited' association of english translators? Any ideas of the costs and time frames? There isn't a whole lot of documents that I need translated, just copies of my fiances KTP, Kartu Keluarga, Akte etc etc to be included in her forthcoming Aussie visa application. I can get it done here in Oz but the time frames are slow (with Xmas upon us), the prices high and I'd rather give my business to an Indonesian.
Cheers

Hi Al,
Thanks for the info as usual. For the record, I've dug up info from sources in the know that its not neccesary to have an 'accredited' translator as such for spouse visas so long as the translations are accurate. I have a net friend in Melbourne who brought her husband over and they translated their documents by themselves and when they submitted them were informed that they had wasted their time 'cos the CO's in Jakarta understood Bahasa Indonesia anyway!
I, like u, would just prefer to get it done the 'recommended' way to save any pain and hopefully streamline the process.
