http://www.balicamp.com lots of various IT Staff from another country work in that place :) But i dont see the reason why the developer put the office in Bali? pretty wierd i think :P All we know Bali is for traveling, fun, etc hehehehe but we can see some company wannabe like "Silicon Valley" is on the Bali island now. - Z

[b]IT Jobs[/b] This is kinda a funny post. I mean it’s almost like someone asking, “hey, I live in New York…but want to move to Seattle. What’s the job market like in the information technology field there?” Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to ridicule you in anyway, but it’s just not like that. Bali is just not easy to acquire employment in whatever is your chosen field. Bali, being just another part of Indonesia, prefers that its jobs go to qualified Indonesians. Frankly, I can’t argue with that logic. I know a ton of expats, but have yet to meet very many that actually have a “job” here. Sure, they exist, often only holding jobs that no qualified Indonesian could be found. Such jobs might be, GM of a foreign owned five star hotel, official consular officer, or something like that. In Java and other islands, where huge conglomerate mining companies, petrol companies, aircraft producing companies, financial institutions, etc. extist, sure, expat jobs for specialists can be found. The trick most expats that I know here in Bali have found to work best, is to take the knowledge, experience and business contacts they have developed over the years and parlay that into a unique, but entrepreneurial situation. They take the risk, but there ain’t no medical insurance plan, pension, or gold watch. Good luck.
