Hi all,
Just 10 days till we fly out to Bali, looking forward to it so much.
Can any one tell me if there is a good place to have a business suit made and how long it would take to make and what the average cost could be.
Thanks in advance
Stuart

I have had suits made in indonesia of very good quality but it was some time ago. Prices were much cheaper than in the UK. Time was relitively quick but as I had the full bespoke service with two fittigs it to about 10 days. I am sure you can get it done quicker without the fittings.
Cost in UK pounds was about 70 but allow for inflation.
froggy
I wonder about the price also,,, Hong kong has an ungodly amount of tailors all over the place!!! wonder how the bali material&craftsmanship stack up ??? anybody??

Hi Stuart,
I have been getting clothes made in Bali for many years but not only suits but also business shirts, shorts, swimming costumes and polo shirts with company and school logo's on them.
I have chopped and changed over the years between two tailors that are, in no particular order:
Franks Tailor - Jln Padma - Legian - almost opposite Indo National restuarant, and
Brisbane Tailor - Three Brothers Lane - Legian.
Time taken they, the tailors, say two to three days but I would allow at least 5 "working" days just in case there are alterations to be made to the final product.
Price - sorry I am not going to enter into that subject because it gives too much info away, but I guarantee it will be cheaper than home, so if you are happy with the first price pay them you got a bargain - but don't forget to barter - this is half the fun - also if happy with the final product a "tip" will not go astray.
If you want more info let me know.
