Hi SmusdarLooks like a genuine opportunity and the salary seems good. Be careful always though of agents. If they ask you for money ..walk away. If it sounds too good to be true it often is.Dubai is a super modern city but very expensive at least 2-3 times the cost of living in Jarkarta. Do background checks into the company as it is not unknown for expatriate workers to be ripped off but this normally applies to lower workers otherwise I wish you all the best on your new opportunity.

i have asked my friend about the company (polymer) he said it is a god company, cause there is one in US.Yeah, about the head hunter certainly i must be alert :)I have requested to teh agent, that I only know if i accepted that job, I get AED 9,000 nett monthly, i dont wanna get dizzy about transportation to office, search appartment etc..and also all the legal papers for legally work there. I have indonesian male friend who work for Alstom in dubai. Is it true Dubai is not a "safe" place for women, especially single one?
iainsomers
Brunel is a dutch comapny (listed on the exchange) and is absolutely an at least normal company (i would say good, but you never know how local branches work).
Jimbo
In all of the middle east single women are seen as fair game especially ones from South Easy Asia. However a little common sense applied will not put you in a situation. Do not go out alone but always in a group. I can say that Dubai is the most cosmompolitan city and you should be pretty safe.Go for it Smusdar and enjoy.
Jimbo
Oh. It is the most expensive city in the middle east but you are there to earn for your future and if you work, go to your apartment and watch TV you will not spend much.
