Not as sexy as your other bike, Bert. :wink: I saw a Goldwing recently with a canopy fitted around the pillion seat and hi-fi speakers mounted inside the canopy. I wondered why the guy didn't just buy a car!? :!: I also heard that Goldwings have a reverse gear because they're so heavy. Is that true?

They are heavy indeed.Handy to have the reverse.....I don't have the canopy, but I do have the speakers...

I guess, once you get used to the weight, it should be very comfortable to ride on long trips. Shame about the roads in Bali... it certainly looks like it's made for cruising on long stretches of open road. 8) Not sure how I feel about the speakers though. :roll:

Oh the roads in Bali...When I open the throttle, they become very narrow.....I don't use the stereo, but Dewi thinks its fun, driving along the beach with some Dangdut.I am thinking about driving through Denpasar with some Wagner. :roll:

Just bought an TR 2 turbo. 0-62 in 5.7 seconds. A 2 seater pocket rocket for just myself and Maria. My kids asked me where they will sit and I replied.......On the bus :-) Yes I know its a flashback to my youth or at least finding it again. I just want to have some fun for us and to hell with the kids.10 days at home for my vacation was too short a time but in a year we will spend all of our time together.

Bert you are a brave MAN to ride that in Bali 8) maybe it will take me another 5 years to gathered some courage to do that! Guess what I did to my Honda Shadow? Since I don't think I'm gonna ride anytime soon I put the bike as the grand prize for pool tournament @ BB, is only 600cc but will be completely customized. The heaviest I could go in Bali I think a Fatboy a gold wing WOW

I don't think Lovina knows what's hit them with this bike. I had the pleasure of riding pillion a couple of times during my stay in Lovina. We were certainly noticed, roaring down the main street, my skirt flying up around my face, greeted with big smiles and "thumbs up" signs from the locals (mind you, I'm not sure if this was because of the bike or the skirt :oops:)
