Glenn & Dee
Hi all,We are enjoying your group and all the material on it and will be in bali and Lombok in early september, What we wish to find out is who is the best person or people to hook up with to find land in beautiful Lombok. I have posted something on lombok lovers and read some things on here and there, however would welcome an e-mail from anyone with info on anything to do with land deals or setting up bungalows as a business venture. We are looking for an escape from the rat race here in Australia and dont wish to make a million, just a living if possible, and live a good lifestyle. We do understand that patience is a virtue and dont wish to rush anyone or anything really, especially not the people living Lombok time schedules. Anyway hope to hear from some of you and learn more about the ups and downs of Lombok. :D Regards,Glenn Dawson & Deidre Diggedenglenndawson1@hotmail.com

Glen Had a message from Freo regarding you and Dee there recently but can't seem to find it in the blackhole (Outlook) here at home. Just wondering how you are progressing and if you will be around in Lombok from early to late June. Are you still next to Batu Bolong cottages on one side and Alberto's on the other? The others here on BEF might want to hear about Indo life as well. What is the name of the place?Got a Muslim wedding to shoot on Gili T 10th June and we be around for 4 or 5 days. How about a catch up in Senggigi for that beer you mentioned earlier this year? Dasha

Hi Dasha, Glenn & Dee do have the internet, but are not on line all that much being Lombok and slow & expensive, so might not see this post for a while.Yep they are located where you described. Their place is actually a beach bar, and I can verify that they have very cold beer! They are currently building a swimming pool and 4 traditional style bungalows (2 will be a/c and 2 fan). The bar is open but there is no signage on the street yet, it is frequented mostly by expats from the Batu Bolong BTN across the road. From what Glenn tells me things are looking promising. The place is known as the Beach Club Senggigi.Cheers, Freo
