ANNOUNCEMENT
November 15, 2002
The Embassy has received credible information about possible targeting
of schools in Jakarta associated with Western interests. This
information is being provided to the Indonesian security authorities
and international school officials so that they may take appropriate
action. American citizens should consider avoiding school attendance
at this time.
The Embassy will continue to monitor the situation and will inform
Americans of any further developments.
