I don't know if this is what everyone is getting now, but when I open what's new. The print is in this eye hurting bright blue. This new color is hard for me to look at. I would much rather have it back to black print color, if possible. Thanks

It's a bit shiny I admit, but OK for me.Adjust the brightness of your screen if too much for you....

The whole site has been on the blink AGAIN for me for the last 4 days. Wrote email and complained and was told it's just an occasional error and nothing to worry about. Kind of like old age - until it gets more permanent...

Yea on the blink for me too. I can't say life in all of Indonesia is like the life here in Bali, but even the simplest problems seems to take weeks to fix. If you ask why, you get the good ole response Tunngu Sebentar! Because of the way no one wants to lose face, if there is a problem of correcting something, and they don't have the answer, the response is wait, or no response at all. And they want to make Indonesia a major semiconductor manufacturing hub for the world, because they have nickel here, seems like a pipe dream. From the students I've seen, only a few might be able to get the education to be able to handle this type of work. Here in Bali, I saw a boy that couldn't even count to ten, continue to advance up the ladder to fifth grade at the local school! There was more emphasis on teaching religion, than mathematics, or the English language.

We have a problem" when I try to open the forum. To say "nothing to worry about" is a serious misreading of the way people use the internet. With the recent problems to continue getting this endangers the viability of the site. New visitors might assume the site is kaput and older users will get fed up to the point of not bothering. It seems Bali specific posts are now appearing more often on the Expat forum.
