Mate, the number of times I saw couples at the restaurant both fully immerged in their phones during the whole meal....
Me too, but there's something different about just eating (2/3x daily) and purposefully going to this magnificent coastal cliff sight at sundown with a large breasted, beautiful young woman and just obsessing about what the camera behind us is getting at the same time we are both competing to photograph each other with our own phones. Madness?!

Yesterday at Jimbaran beach there was a couple, perhaps honeymooners, who spent hours in the one spot with a camera on a tripod as they did endless repeat takes of walking hand in hand from the sea towards the camera to make those at home jealous of their blissful time in Bali.

Who the fuck cares mate? Just let them enjoy their day in their own way.
I guess some of us are just interested in what passes for "normal" behavior in an ever-changing world and some of us just aren't? I find myself (rightly or wrongly) thinking what I would be doing in the same situation and I never, ever come to the conclusion to do what they did and I'm interested in the thought processes of how they got there and what their lives are like. I aint stalking anyone but conjecture is sometimes fun. And she was a babe. So any excuse to glom on them was justified.

I spoke with my son, about working in the garden, and planting lots of food to be prepared for crazy price hikes, and to have good, nutritious food. I told him to get his young boys involved so they have this knowledge under their belt. He told me the older one 8 years old, isn't interested, but just wants to play video games, and sports! The younger one at 5 years old and loves the garden, camping, cooking, etc. it just shows how different personalities, affect the person's desires! He did say, that they were going camping this weekend, and No electronics, for the kids! I said that's great! At least the older one, likes sports! As we see, the Internet is a blessing, and a curse all in one! I think that we all should have basic skills in Natural living, and skills with the so-called modern world, and to be able to adapt, in both realities!
