Hi all, I am new to this and that's the only thread I could find, in which I could place this question:> I am currently looking after the renovation of several villas, especially the pools and the floors. The floors and also the pools were done in polished, coloured concrete. But the pool walls have discoloured (some bueish stuff they put in the water) and the finish cover (about 2mm thick) of the floors is cracking. Does anybody have recommendations or suggestions of the best materials to use to renovate such surfaces, where to get the material and if there are people who kow to apply it well. It's quite a job, so I would not like to do it more than once every 5 years (hopefully less). Please do not suggest tiles and the sort. I have seen this and it's nice. But I'd like to maintain the woaouh factor of the Villas as they are, i.e. simple, just white floor and pool.> I am further looking after the stabilizing of some slopes, which are being washed out. I know the material I need (https://nilex.com/turf-reinforcement-mats/)(https://platipus-anchors.com/). The only materials I have yet been able to find are some geogrid and unwoven geotextiles. No turfmatting, no ground anchors or the like. I thought though that this technology should be available somewhere, looking at how the hills come down everywhere when it rains ... Anybody having any leads?> Anybody having had to repair a Subak before? We are dealing with about 20m of destroyed Subak walls, with the resulting washing out of the embankments. Yep, I know, there are the relevant local and higher up authorities which deal with this stuff and one has to have patience. But after 2 1/2 years patience and the wash-out results on the propety I'd like to get onto the job. Any successful techniques anybody? Thanks a lot

Replace your floor with terracotta tiles from Pejaten in Tabanan. Pool, no clue, possible reface with Bali green stone (careful of the green cement ripoff). If you are trying to replace Subak waterways then the answer is in the name - get the Subak to fix them. That's what they are for. Even if the waterways are not Subak responsibility those are the guys that know what they are doing - ask em.

Unfortunately both do not fit the stile of the villas, which is very specific. Regarding the Subak, mmh, perhaps it works differently in your area? Because our friends - and now us - are trying to get them to at least have a look at the damage for the last 2 1/2 years ...
