Yeserday around 5 pm just near the Ngurah Rai Bypass waiting for a light change and the car began to rock. Lasted about 6 seconds. I gather a 5.8 tremor. Taking wife to dentist at Sanur who had someone in the chair when the shake happened. Bad enough if you have a dentist drilling but an earthquake at the same time?

We were on Geger beach having a few bintangs, I'm sure my chair sunk in the sand but that could have been the beer.

The rocking went for about a minute or more, with 15 seconds of strong stuff. The dentist paused and we all looked at each other, then she recommenced without much of a concern.
