Hello all. British Psychoanalyst traveling around Indonesia with 5 year old son, currently in Ubud indefinitely, wondering about staying in Bali long-term. We would really love to connect with other families for hanging out and possible playdates. I like books, trees, gardening, travel, swimming, chess, socialising ... My son is into dinosaurs, climbing, everything creative and all things outdoors :)

Welcome to the forum. You might find it easier on FB to find what you are looking for. There are many groups related to Ubud and people with young families.Personally when we had kids when our kids started going to preschool and school we met many other families and that is probably one of the best ways to meet up. Even at schools aimed at expats you find many local families and families with parents from different countries. Enjoy your day of silence in Ubud!
