Since both Tokopedia and Shoppee seem to be out of affordable (non-import) curing salt for making ham and bacon I wondered if anyone here knows where I can get some Sodium nitrite (NaNO2) ? Locally? Under 20kg? so I can make my own. Thanks in advance.

Celery juice also works as it contains natural nitrites
When I'm toying with botulism I prefer the nuclear option, thanks. I've actually in the mean time found a bag of 1kg of curing salt from Brazil (6% nitrite and the rest table salt) on Tokopedia so will see how I get on with that.
