I assume you are looking at getting a retirement Visa for Indonesia? I really don't know what your situation is so can't really provide any help based on your post. One thing I have found is that if you "purchase" a property on a 99 year lease, you can apply for a retirement Visa fairly easily, meaning pay $10,000, possibly less, for a leased condo and you can get to Bali and then stay in the condo or travel fairly cheaply around Bali. I'm currently staying in a beachfront rental for a month for $750 in Candidasa and have a retirement Visa. There are cheaper monthly rentals on Bali available in Ubud. Shared units are cheaper. Now is a good time to buy a [;ace in Bali as, infortunately, the economy is struggling very badly. Cheers.

Good evening Wendy, Once your over 70 it is official, one is a bona fide grumpy grouch. So there are a number of forum users who fall into that category... self included. However, if you don't wish to needlessly rile the grumpiest, as questions occur, first put the topic in the search bar and you will find a lot of information relevant to your quest. If you don't find what you are looking for then ask away and don't be put off by the occasional cranky response. Good luck.

Most people live by the ocean only once then never again. Think sand and salt in everyfuckingthing always and it can get really, really loud too. So if you don't mind not sleeping because of the noise and your bed is a sandpit where everything tastes of grit and salt .. enjoy :p. Now a hundred meters back or so and it's a whole dif story.

Stainless steel ha!It's one thing if you're on some nice hill with oceanVIEW but right there first line it's challenging - at least if you own it
