We would like a 2 bedroom place for around $180k (USD) if we can make that happen. We would have about 30k (USD) to put as a down payment. Ideally, we could rent it for much of the year (60% if we can) to cover our costs and then use it as a vacation property for ourselves once or twice a year. However, this is all about 2 years away. Hopefully prices are still good by then. At the moment we are in the process of getting our postnuptial agreement sorted out because we were unaware we needed a prenup prior to marriage in order to protect my wife's ownership rights in Indonesia.

If you want to use it as a vacation home, then that's fine but rental properties here is not a good business and you are completely reliant on the health of the tourism industry which, lets face it, is not coming back to full strength anytime soon.

If you're going down towards the beach, you'll see it on the right side. I saw a little halfpipe and small bowl in there as well. I'm not sure if it's public or belongs to a restaurant but you can check it out.Also, they seem to be building some sort of BMX, skatepark thing in Jimbaran by the Jimbaran Hub. Might want to look into that

On the road down to Pantai Balangan there is a little skatepark. If you're going down towards the beach, you'll see it on the right side. I saw a little halfpipe and small bowl in there as well. Bukit Bowl might be closed because of covid
